Transdisciplinary project to research authenticity and trust in organic food (AVOeL)

Since April 2020, University Didactics has been involved in the AVOeL project (Authenticity and trust in organic food: Innovative communication approaches along the product chain and in society). In cooperation with the Department of Agricultural Economics, the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and the Lower Saxony Competence Center for Organic Agriculture, innovative communication options are being developed to promote the social perception of the positive effects of organic farming and to strengthen trust in organically produced food. (Further information here)

University Didactics supports the project in the planning, implementation and moderation of workshops with stakeholders in the organic food value chain. This involves researching their understanding of trust in the production steps and between all those involved and the consumers. In the second phase of the project, the university's didactic expertise will be used to develop innovative communication approaches to promote knowledge of and trust in organic food. Interactive documentary films will be produced together with the cultural anthropology department. In addition, didactic materials (digital and analog) will be created and workshops for multipliers will be designed and carried out.
