Know how – Gemeinsam gegen sexualisierte Gewalt an der Uni
Sexual violence is a social problem that also exists at university. To address this preventively, the University of Göttingen has developed a tool to raise awareness of sexual violence.
The self-learning tool „Know how – Gemeinsam gegen sexualisierte Gewalt an der Uni“ was developed over the past few months at the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology with funding from the Equality Innovation Fund and is now available to the entire university. The tool focuses on videos and questions that show animated scenes from everyday university life and are intended to stimulate reflection. It is intended to help make the topic of sexual violence discussable and to encourage reflection on one’s own roles and boundaries as well as an exchange of ideas. In addition, it contributes to the implementation of our Richtlinie zur Prävention von und zum Schutz vor sexualisierter Belästigung und Gewalt (Schutz-RL) (in German).
KNOW HOW can be found at www.uni-goettingen.de/knowhow (website in German)
University health services (Healthy Campus)
The Healthy Campus portal offers all university members a wide range of services on the topics of exercise, nutrition, mental health and skills development. In addition to basic information on health topics, you will also find lists of possible contacts within and outside the university as well as workshops, video courses and podcasts.
