PROF. DR. SUSAN SEEBER



Susan Seeber is a German business educator who has been researching and teaching at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen since 2010. She specialises in quantitative vocational training research, particularly in the areas of monitoring vocational training, transitions into training and the associated social inequalities, as well as skills diagnostics and promotion in commercial and healthcare professions. Competences for sustainability in diagnostics and support are also a central point of reference.



Susan Seeber graduated from high school with a vocational qualification as an industrial clerk. After studying business education at the Humboldt University in Berlin, she completed her doctorate there. During her doctorate, she worked as a lecturer in commercial training and further education. After completing her dissertation, she worked for three years in a management consultancy with a focus on labour market integration and the promotion of employees through further education and training. He completed his habilitation at the University of Hamburg. Before accepting the professorship at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, she worked at the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education (DIPF) as a research assistant and coordinator of the National Education Report.
